Who We are
Veteran Empowerment Neighborhoods (VEN) is a Michigan non-profit 501(c) 3 corporation established in July 2011.
VEN was created to address the needs of Veterans and their families, including homeless Veterans and Veterans at risk of becoming homeless and their families. Our charge is to promote sustainability by providing a continuum of supportive services to Veterans and their families, as well as the families of active duty military service men and women.
Our Mission
VEN was created to improve the quality of life for Veteran families and the immediate family members of active duty military service men and women.
Our mission is to help build stronger, healthier, vibrant communities. We firmly believe that decent housing is a precondition of individual, family and community wellbeing.
We believe that it is our social responsibility to efficiently and effectively support those individuals who served our country. All Veterans deserve every opportunity to live with dignity and independence in a healthy, safe and decent environment
